9月19日、星陵オーディトリアム（星陵キャンパス）において、”KU Leuven-Tohoku Univ. Symposium on Systems Neuroscience” が開催され、ルーベン大学（ベルギー）の3名の先生と東北大学の6名の先生にご講演いただきました。多くの方が聴講に訪れ、質疑応答も活発に行われました。シンポジウム 最後の講演者Peter Janssen先生が、参加者に３Dメガネを配って講演を行なうと、会場が大いにわくなど、終始活気のある雰囲気の中でシンポジウムが進行しました。今後両大学の交流をさらに発展させていくことを期して、シンポジウムは幕を閉じました。
